Often, I get this challenge when I study the bible---live a simple life. Even if I already have a simple life, most bible passages would still urge me to keep things simpler. I read time and again that the simple are more blessed.

In fact, I get this impression from the Word that you won't be blessed unless you live simply like Jesus did. The greatest reward or blessing in the bible is on the poor in spirit---theirs is God's kingdom. Imagine that. What could be greater? Jesus himself confirmed it.

So I started out this challenge. If the simple are really blessed like that, can I list at least 5001 blessings on the simple---those who live simple and meek lives, the poor in spirit? So at the end of each day, to relax myself from work (I'm a web content writer and blogger) I sit back and relax and think and put one entry.

I should be able to complete 5001. God promised it. I mean, being given the kingdom of heaven should also give you more than 5001 blessings, definitely.

You can help me out on this. If you know of blessings on simple and meek people not yet here, just comment below the articles. I'd add them to the list.

So, here's the count down...
